Privacy Policy
PillowPlaza ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit pillowplaza.com or place an order, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It applies to customers in the United States and Canada, the only regions we sell to.
Information we collect
When you browse, register, or place an order we may collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, order and return history, and the payment details you enter at checkout (processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers). We also automatically collect device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, through cookies and analytics.
How we use your information
We use your information to process and ship your orders, handle returns and exchanges, provide customer support, send order and service updates, send marketing emails where you have opted in, improve our site, and meet our legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies to remember your cart and preferences and to understand how the site is used. We use analytics and tag-management tools, including Google Tag Manager and the services it loads, to measure and improve site performance. You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work if cookies are turned off.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the store and fulfil orders — for example our e-commerce platform (Shopify), our fulfilment and returns partners, our payment processor, and our shipping carriers — strictly so they can perform those services on our behalf. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Third-party links
Our site may link to affiliated brands and third-party websites (for example youpsleep.com). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we link to; please review their policies separately.
How we protect your information
We use SSL encryption for data in transit, restrict access to personal information to staff who need it, and process all payments through a secure gateway rather than on our own servers. We scan our site regularly for vulnerabilities.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described here — including completing orders, honouring warranties and the return window, and meeting tax, accounting, and legal requirements — after which we delete or anonymise it.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request a copy, to request correction or deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined by law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email info@pillowplaza.com; we will verify and respond as required by law.
Connecticut residents
If you are a Connecticut resident, you have rights under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising or sale. Contact info@pillowplaza.com to exercise them.
Canadian customers
For customers in Canada, we handle personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA): we collect only what we need, use it for the purposes described here, and you may request access to or correction of your information by contacting us.
Children\u2019s privacy (COPPA)
Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Do Not Track
Because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, our site does not currently respond to them differently.
Marketing emails (CAN-SPAM)
We send commercial email in line with the CAN-SPAM Act. Every marketing email identifies us, includes our business address, and offers an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time using that link or by emailing info@pillowplaza.com, and we will promptly stop sending you marketing messages.
Data breach notification
If a data breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected users without undue delay and in line with applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
